Bull

The bull is the earth's raw strength: fertile, stubborn, and slow to anger but unstoppable once moved. It is the creature of Taurus in every tradition, the Cherub of Earth in the Golden Dawn, and sacred to deities from Apis to Zeus. It embodies abundance built by patience.

Uses

• Prosperity and steady growth
• Fertility and physical vitality
• Endurance and determination
• Grounding scattered energy

Working with it

Call on the bull for any long, practical work: building savings, finishing a project, tending a body back to strength. Set a green candle on a Friday with copper or a coin, and visualize the bull standing firm on rich soil. Ask it to lend you its patience before its force.
