Uncrossing Oil
Oil, resin, or incense1 tradition
In Hoodoo, a 'crossed' condition is a run of bad luck or a curse; uncrossing clears it. Uncrossing oil leans on cleansing herbs such as hyssop and lemon, the herbs of 'purge me with hyssop.'
Uses

- Removing a curse or hex
- Cleansing
- Starting fresh
Working with it
In Hoodoo practice, the oil dresses white candles burned while reading Psalm 51, and a few drops go into a cleansing bath.
